Feb. 6, 1894", and a family of five children identified on the back as "Cousin Herbert Bingham's family." Photo of Hervey Bingham taken in a studio in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The portrait of the children of Herbert A. Bingham was taken in a studio in Santa Ana, California. Measure approximately 5 x 7.25 and 4.25 x 6.5 respectively including mounts. Condition: These are original photographs, not copies or reproductions. They are in very good condition. Comments: An on-line genealogy report regarding Herbert A. Bingham states: "Moving to Santa Ana, California in 1891, Bingham started a creamery business and built the first factory in the Newport area where he manufactured butter. In 1886, he established his factory and headquarters on 6th Street and Broadway in Los Angeles. For the factory to operate he relied on the milk of over 6000 cows to produce 1.5 tons of butter per day. His operation also consisted of twenty-five horses that were used on site and for delivery of the butter. He married Linnie Victoria Halliday from Massachusetts and they had seven children. Linnie was very involved in bettering education for children." Herbert was born February 3, 1857 in Lakewood Park, Worcester County, Massachusetts and died July 17, 1910 in California.
