TIMOTHY'S TOOLBOX Clark Dietrich Resilient Sound Isolation Clips [CDSC] - Box of 100 Box of 100 The Clark Dietrich Sound Isolation Clip (CDSC) is used to fasten drywall / gypsum wallboard in numerous wall and floor applications while reducing airborne sound transferring from room to room. The Clark Dietrich Sound Clip adds notable STC points to create a sound isolated environment. The CDSC clip is designed for Wood, Steel, and Concrete and is complies to UL 263 test standards. When combined with Hat Channels, the Clark Dietrich CDSC decouples walls and/or ceilings from joists, creating a ?floating? wall or ceiling. Decoupling the wall or ceiling helps limit sound transmission by breaking the path of the sound and creating resiliency- reducing vibration on the joists and through the walls.
