Trifari Eagle/Hawk Signed 1960 Heavy Brooch EUC This stylized dramatic Eagle/Hawk by TRIFARI has no peer on the Web. It is made of a heavy metal 22.3 grams and is over 2? long by 1 1/2? height. It cleans with a silver like residue??? It is thick and curved. The CUT OUT image is striking and would have an appeal to Hawk/Eagle lovers . What comes to mind is the Philadelphia Eagles. Could have been created by Trifari for them. It also calls to mind the University of IOWA Hawkeyes. It is a striking piece, sure to get noticed. The image is a modernist silhouette of possibly our National Bird. It projects a character- DON?T Mess with me. A true statement piece with possible Native American crossover. Hopefully this Bird will land in a great home. It would appear to date from the 1960?s with a raised rectangular cartouche and the letter t blended with a crown and a satin vs. polished finish on the reverse side. The pin and clasp function as they should . It comes in a padded jewelry box suitable for gifting. Great for any aviary worker at a Zoo. A lot of people enjoy wearing animal/bird jewelry.
