Vintage authentic Coach Shoulder bag purse, No. 226-2268. Taupe brown leather. Flap with buckle closure that can buckle closed or the strap can slide into a keeper on the body of the bag to allow the flap to open and close freely. Zippered inside pouch across entire length of one side. Original leather Coach logo tag on zipper. Characteristic of Coach bags, this one is beautifully constructed of wonderful leather. Shoulder strap is buckled on either side of the purse and can be as long as 50" total or shorten by as much as 14" total, if you prefer to carry a shorter shoulder bag. Bag itself is approx. 10.5" x 8", with a 1.5" gusset. This purse is well used, but the wear is all cosmetic, not functional. All three buckles and the interior zipper work as designed. The buckles are brass, w/ patina of age. The leather is worn and the interior flap has several pen marks. The bag is unlined except for the interior back which has a full leather pocket w/ zipper closure. This is a "one owner" bag, in search of a new home. If you are looking for an all leather purse that will hold up to pretty much any kind of wear you can dish out, choose this one--it will last for many years and only gets better the more you use it!
