Captured Tyme Rare Book's vision is to, well; Capture Tyme - for you! Please follow us by entering our booth and clicking the box in front of "Follow this Seller" at the left hand side of the screen. Located in Virginia, Captured Tyme Rare Books began its journey into the rare book world in 2000 doing business as Distinctive Books; relying primarily on public and personal sales. We maintain an open shop (appts. only, we want to make sure we don't miss you) and we also list and present on various internet venues and at book-fairs. We changed the name to Captured Tyme Rare Books in 2018 as a recognition of the capacity of books to serve as a link to the people, best thoughts, and events of those who walked this world before us. Our books literally are a Capture of Tyme.
The goal of C.T.R.B., is to provide the collector, investor, or bibliophile quality rare and antiquarian books at competitive prices and to promote the rare, collectible and antiquarian book world. After all they're not just books - they're Captured Tyme.
