I've been painting since age 5. My education includes the Boston Museum of Fine Arts and the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. My style varies from impressionism to abstract along with something I call IMPASSIONISM. My paintings are characterized by vivid colors and flowing shapes and lines creating a sense of motion. IMPASSIONISM is a combination of impressionism and abstract with shimmering lines similar to reflections in water. My studio, eL Kay Fine Art Studio, is located in Wilmington, North Carolina.
