Hello, and Welcome! Since 2003, I have been selling online, and children's books are my speciality. Being a former art teacher and substitute teacher, and certified as a reading teacher, the fit seemed natural. I love vintage books, and sometimes reading one can be absolutely delightful. Some old books smell wonderful, and flipping through one with amazing graphics is a treat. It is fun to find a book from my childhood.
I offer a wide range of children's books: from baby books to YA (young adult), from vintage to contemporary, from collectible to new. Books are sometimes grouped by author, illustrator, or subject. I occasionally offer adult fiction and non-fiction, art and crafts books, Sci-Fi, Westerns, Mysteries, and cookbooks.
You will find an extremely nice selection of children's books in my store. Another bookseller (a seasoned bookseller that's been selling far longer than I have been) gave me a nice compliment: "You have a really good eye when it comes to books."
We live in the Maine woods, down a long driveway, and next to a beautiful lake. Getting up the driveway on a bad winter day can be difficult and even impossible. I generally ship Monday through Friday, but if the weather is bad, and I don't want to risk it, I will email you to let you know that there will be a delay on the shipping.
Our house is smoke free, but we do have dogs. My business and the books are located in the walk-out basement--the dogs have rarely been down here.
Besides my family, I have three passions: Books, Baking Bread, and Yoga.
