HAND FORGED WITH ORIGINAL NATURAL UNMACHINED WOOD POLE HANDLE. If you check out the pictures you can see some pits in the metal as well as the seem where the blacksmith split the metal to create the surround for the wood. Long PRIMITIVE pole axe type tool. Probably made for general use on an Amish farm. Bank clearing, sickle, scythe, etc. Im sure it could be used for just about anything. THE PERFECT DISPLAY PIECE!! GREAT PATINA, ETC. 56" total length.
