This fabulous geometric abstract painting was created by Russian artist Wassily Kandinsky in 1925. He always wanted to provoke deep thinking in anyone viewing his artwork, and in this one you can see triangles, squares, circles and abstract shapes mixed in with them. Also straight and curved black lines. He was born December 1866 in Moscow. He taught art at the Bauhaus School of Art in Germany and was the founder of the Munich art group, Der Blaue Reiter.
