YANA KOROBOV Born in 1972, in Ukraine. Korobov studied art since childhood, and has a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Skobedka in Krakow. In 2003 she immigrated to Israel with her family. Korobov was an apprentice at the studio of Itzhak Tarkay. Korobov Influences include vibrant light and saturated color of the Impressionist Renoir, and colorful, design-oriented paintings of Post-Impressionist Paul Gauguin. She is known for her vivid flower bouquets. Korobov uses bold, bright colors while the depth and texture create joyful sense of spontaneous movement. The thick, defining strokes electrify and engage viewers, creating idealized world of pleasure and happiness. Korobov displayed in exhibitions in Israel, Europe, USA and Singapore.
