This is the 9th piece of the Norse Goddess Hel Leather Fantasy Armor which is a custom one-of-a-kind Single Leather Bone Shin Guard or Greave that was specifically made for a fantasy Viking Mythology character for a renaissance faire. This is designed with the Norse Goddess "Hel" in mind. She is the goddess of the underworld in Norse mythology and is half dead and half alive, therefore each piece of this unique costume is different representing this feature. This fantasy Bone Shin Guard is in black leather with a hammered texture and bloody brownish-burgundy bones on top that represents the death side of the Norse Goddess Hel. Would be a great item for a Halloween costume or another fantasy faire and costume-con. Description: This is thick hard formed leather with suede liner and approximately 1/8" inch thick by 10-1/8" inches long by 7-1/2" inches at the ankle. It has two leather straps buckles, and is not lined in suede since it was meant to go over boots. Condition is Excellent like-new. No issues. A few pieces have writing in Rune engraved on them and others don't. One side is for the living and the other for the dead showing some bones which are also hand formed out of leather. This costume has only been worn once. Some pieces had quality issues and may need some attention from a leather-smith. I have done what I can to make this right but unfortunately, that didn't happen as expected when dealing with a long distance vendor and communication can get rather complicated due to personal issues. So I leave that up to the buyer to decide on the other pieces and will describe the defects. This leather bracer has no such defect issues and is in excellent condition.
