Item description

Catalog Number: SKAO-5099 Condition Details: Vinyl plays with crackles and a few light-clicks (play-graded). Gate-fold cover looks good, a few creases near edges; light scuffing, tiny surface impressions and abrasions, slight discoloration spots (front/back/inner-gate). Faint writing near bottom right corner on back. Heavy creasing on corners on front. Inner-sleeve is original (generic white). Spine is mostly readable with wear. Minor shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge, both of which are partially unglued. Wear to corners. Uni-pak opening is crisp with signs of light use. (Not a cut-out.) Tracks: Love To Be Your Man (Max Frost The Troopers ) Free Lovin' (Max Frost The Troopers ) Firty Two Per Cent (Max Frost The Troopers ) Shape Of Things To Come (Max Frost The Troopers ) Psychedelic Senate (The Senators ) Fourteen Or Fight (Max Frost The Troopers ) Wild In The Streets (Jerry Howard ) Listen To The Music (The Second Time ) Sally Le Roy (The Second Time ) Shelly In Camp (The Gurus ) About The Record: Wild in the Streets was an American comedy-drama film, described as both "ludicrous" and "cautionary." It was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Film Editing and became a cult classic of the 1960s counterculture. A soundtrack album was released on Tower Records and became successful, peaking at No. 12 on the Billboard charts. Taken from the soundtrack and film, Shape of Things to Come (written by songwriters Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil) and performed by the fictional band Max Frost and the Troopers, was released as a single (backed with Free Lovin') and became a hit, reaching No. 22 on Billboard.
