Wild West Organics dried artisan Greek organic oregano leaves (origanum vulgare var. hirtum) is hand harvested at the best time, just before it blooms, then sun-dried in hot weather. My drying method locks in the fragrant aroma, flavor, and goodness of the oregano plant. Dried Greek oregano has a pungent aroma and warm, rich flavor and are primarily used in dishes rather than fresh oregano leaves which have a milder taste and aroma. Wild West Organics has not applied chemical pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers in any of our carefully cultivated herb and pepper products.
