Item description

Brand new factory sealed vhs tape, letterboxed so widescreen TV owners can use your zoom mode. Digitally remastered to look almost as good as the dvd. If it looks too grainy enlarged, try your movie mode. On my set the movie mode makes enlarged letterbox movies look sharper by softening the edges of the pixels and getting rid of the grain. Lost in the wilderness of Australia, a child (Lucien John) and an adolescent (a ravishing Jenny Agutter) rely on young aborigine David Gulpilil in order to survive. Nicolas Roeg, in his first solo outing as director, also beautifully photographed this mind-massaging cult favorite; lush score by John Barry. Lucien John is Roeg's son and later worked with his father using the name Luc Roeg. Expanded by 5 minutes for this director's cut. Closed Captioning available, but the type may fall below the frame when you enlarge it.
