Vintage Handbag, Purse crafted Grandee Bead in the USA ca 1940s. This wonderful Purse is designed with rows of white beads secured to a mesh fabric backing. Randomly, green and pink threads have been embroidered to create the illusion of flowers - these designs were covered with clear beads for protection. The detailing is amazing. The bag is secured with a silver toned metal hinge and simple "ball clasp" closure. A beaded strap/handle is securely attached to the metal frame hinge section. The interior is a white faille fabric. In very terrific condition with few signs of use or storage - We didn't notice any missing beads. Measures nearly 8" high from base to top beads (not including clasp) x 12" wide. The strap is close to 12" long allowing for a 6" drop. The label is imprinted on the inside of the bag. Also, Please feel free to ask questions before you buy.
