Ice Cream Scoop
This vintage metal conical cone
shaped ice cream scoop is marked Clad Disher on the inside. It would date circa the 1940s- through the
1950s. After scooping up the ice cream you would turn the key at the top to release
the ice cream. The handle has the number
8 on it. The scoop is approximately 2 7/8
inches across the top. The overall
length of the scoop including the handle is 7 inches. There is an old repair where the handle was
reattached to the body of the scoop.
There are a couple of spots of rust on the handle and the inside of the
scoop. The metal has a great old patina from age and use. This would be a great addition to any
vintage soda fountain or kitchen utensil collection.
