It is HANDMADE from 18K PINK GOLD with PLATINUM for the diamond settings. The ring is set with 18 OLD MINE CUT DIAMONDS of H-I-J color, SI clarity that weigh approx. .65 ctw. These diamonds are in the .03 - .05 ct. range each. The ring is centrally set with 1 synthetic BLUE SAPPHIRE that weighs approx. 3 ct. This sapphire is an EMERALD CUT of the finest quality that is set horizontally. Synthetic colored stones were typical for the period. The band of the ring has a shingle design and the gold has a very unique and BEAUTIFUL RED PATINA that illuminates the ring's age. This can be polished for a more subtle pink shade, but I will leave that decision to the buyer. The top of the ring measures 5/8? by oe? and it sits almost OE? high.
