They are HANDMADE from 18K GOLD and have a polished finish. The two ends pull apart and inside there is a chain with tight tension that reels the ends back together. These ends will pull apart 5/8?. The BARBELL STYLE ENDS are set with 22 NATURAL BLUE SAPPHIRES that are CHANNEL-SET FACETED SQUARE SHAPES weighing approx. 2.60 ctw. The sapphires have a darker appearance because the back of the setting is closed so light does not pass through. The barbell ends are two sizes with the smaller end measuring 11.44 and the larger ends measures 14.91 mm at the widest diameter.
