Item description

Vintage Cookie Tin, Nabisco, Famous Ginger Wafers 9.5 oz Size Circa 1940s This collectible cookie tin was made by Nabisco in New York City in the 1940s for their "famous ginger wafers." The tin is empty and measures 8.5" tall and 3" in diameter. It held 9.5 ounces and even includes a recipe for "famous refrigerator cake." The tin is in good condition for a piece this old. There's rust on the lid and bottom, but most of the paint is still intact on the outside. Number 1201 in blue ink is visible on the bottom. See pictures for closer detail. The empty weight is 4.1 ounces. Buy it for your Americana collection or gift it to a friend, but buy it today while it last. The House of Alexie (http://stores.ebay.com/Alexie-Apparel) has a 100% approval rating and is a trusted vendor. Come see our other items, both new and old.
