They will not be perfect, cookie cutter, or New. There will be some wear or flaws and each piece will have individual aging depending on it's life before I discovered it. To me, this adds to the character and history of the piece. I generally do not polish any of the metal items. I prefer the rustic look, and I know many others do as well. But if you prefer a shiny look you can use an appropriate cleaner to remove tarnish from Silver and to polish Brass and Bronze. I leave this up to the Buyer to decide. I have a soft spot for Brass and you will find many pieces listed and likely many more I am working to get up for others to adopt and add to their collection.
