Vintage Beige and Brown Pottery Water Jug 1940's 1.5 Quarts. This vintage jug is in good vintage condition. It is 7.5" tall, 15.5" around the middle, the top opening is 5" in diameter with a small open spout at the front. Is thick and solid piece and looks brand new - like it has never been used. It may have had a lid at one time, but I cannot be sure and I could not find any others with a lid in my research. There are some very small chips on the bottom rim. It would neve been seen unless you turn it upside down and look for it (see photo # 5) and a small scratch that I believe happened during manufacturing (see photo #6). The reason I say this is because when I run my fingernail in the scratch, it feels smooth. It has the glaze that the piece is covered with. It isn't a mark that happened due to being dropped or cut into. This would be a perfect addition to the breakfast or picnic table!
