The brand name Palm was developed in 1929 as a sign of the victory of top-fermented beer to the ever more popular Pilsner. Palm has produced 8 varieties: Aerts 1900 (retired), Bock Pils, Dubbel, Green, Ongefilterd, Royale, Speciale, and Zonder Alcohol. Belgian-style ales seldom fit neatly into classic beer styles, but this category represents those ales under 7% alcohol by volume that do not fit other categories.
