Item description

Vintage BURNTWATER NAVAJO RUG, Hand Woven Wool, 6.8 ftx4.9 ft, 81"x58-1/2" c70s For your consideration is this gorgeous hand woven genuine Burntwater Wool rug from the heart of Navajo country! This decorative style is known for the range of plant-dyed colors and abstract patterns that combine both Ganado and Two Grey Hills patterns. On full display is a glorious palette of earth tone visuals that are both calming and alleviating! It includes a background of orange with lavender, olive green, white, beige, grey, and light green. Finely woven at about 26 wefts to the inch, this vintage rug is in very good used condition. Unfortunately, information is unavailable for the Navajo weaver. Circa 1970s, this rug measures an outstanding size of about 81" x 58-1/2" (6.8 ft x 4.9 ft). Comes with original tag and Certificate of Authenticity. Gorgeous rug to enhance your home with! Beautiful, vibrant and great addition to any room! Thanks for looking and be sure to check out my store for more selections of authentic Native American jewelry, pottery and artifacts! That is why we chose to partner up with some of the oldest and most reputable Trading Posts in the Southwest who deal directly with the Native American artisans to bring you a large selection of authentic Native American products. These artisans come from the Navajo, Zuni, Hopi and affiliate tribes on the reservations, so you can be assured that all our Native American products are authentic! Some of our new items can be re-produced and therefore may have some slight variances from the pictures. We do sell on other venues as well as occasional trade shows and reserve the right to cancel this listing if sold prior to any bids or offers. We try to keep our listings up to date, but may occasionally miss one. We highly recommend that you email us to verify stock so as not to disappoint.
