This was only on display and not used as a Mug. There is a knob at the bottom to wind the music and it does play. The stein is beige with a picture of a lady dancing, man playing the flute and a house and tree on the other side of mug. It is 9-1/4" tall with the lid on. It is 7-1/2" tall with the lid opened. 2-5/8" diameter at the top of rim of stein. The bottom of stein is 4" in diameter. ??There is a small tarnish on the lid as pictured.
