41 Vintage Antique Hand Pieced Hand Quilted Patch Work Quilt Square 8"x 9" In the earlier days sometimes instead of cotton (polyester was not available) the ladies would use whatever old clothing, etc, that was available to make a lining for their quilts. This quilt square has layers of material for the stuffing which maybe what this was. Possible Feed Sack Backing and possible Feed Sack Stuffing. The square would be very cute framed or as a part of a pillow collage, etc. or other crafts, sewing projects, etc. I purchased a frame at a charity sale and this was in the frame. It is obviously very old.
