You are buying a circa 1870s-90s 8 1/2? tall 16 oz BLACK RUBY GLASS DECANTER WITH SHOT GLASS STOPPER. The color is black until you hold it to strong light and it will show red (see last picture). Both the stopper and the bottle have a hand painted floral leaf pattern. The stopper and underside of the bottle have enamelled numbers on them. If your not familiar with hand blown glass a pontil is the point at which the glass blowers rod was connected. The condition is very good no chips, no cracks, no staining, just some very slight top gold rim wear and slight wear to gold leaves hand painted sections.
