Item description

US NAVY - USS RONALD REAGAN - CVN-76 Challenge Coin. This is a great looking US NAVY - USS RONALD REAGAN (CVN-76) commemorative challenge coin. It has a great looking NAVY emblem on the reverse side. Coin has reeded edges and is about 1 9/16" in diameter. All details are raised lettering. Coin is contained in an acrylic air tight holder. USS Ronald Reagan (CVN-76) is a Nimitz-class nuclear-powered supercarrier in the service of the United States Navy. The ninth ship of her class, she is named in honor of former President Ronald Reagan, President of the United States from 1981 to 1989. Upon her christening in 2001, she was the first ship to be named for a still living former president. As of May 2012 the ship is operationally part of Carrier Strike Group Nine and administratively under the command of Commander, Naval Air Forces Pacific/Commander, Naval Air Forces. The two administrative titles actually refer to one command carrying out two functions. In January 2014, the U.S. Navy announced that the Ronald Reagan will replace the USS George Washington (CVN-73) as the Flagship of Carrier Strike Group Five, the only forward-based carrier strike group home-ported at Yokosuka, Japan, as part of the U.S. Seventh Fleet. *COMBINED SHIPPING AVAILABLE* For combined shipping place all items in cart then purchase all items together from cart for 1 combined shipping charge...
