Most original work is much longer and thinner, or too short to fit a standard frame. Sadly, many print suppliers crop vintage art to make it fit standard sizes, but this risks losing beautiful parts of the artwork. I believe that you should be able to view old artwork in its full glory. And so you'll find many of the prints here have non-standard white borders. These allow you to crop the print to the size you want. Or frame it as it is in a glass clipframe, or with a contrasting matt that brings the artwork to life.
