Simple and beautiful, these tiny 1/2" copper hoops are a great wardrobe staple! They are untreated, so you can either keep them polished and shiny, or let them oxidize to a darker hue naturally. Now available in either copper or brass! I use red brass, which starts off looking very similar to gold, but will oxidize to a sort of butterscotch color - lovely and unusual! Copper is the default, if you want red brass just request it. These stay put quite well and are very comfortable, but are easy to take on and off. I used to fumble with the clasps on small hoops, but no clasp is required with these hoops - you simply insert the earring from the back of your ear, and pull it through until the loop stops at your ear. It looks like a full hoop, but is much, much easier to wear. NOTE: I usually make these with 18 ga. wire, but if you have small-ish piercings let me know and I can make them from 20 ga wire instead. Often, 2nd piercings are on the smaller side, or new piercings done at mall locations may also be a tight to very tight fit for 18ga.. Note that copper (or brass) can cause a greenish coloration (which washes off) on skin it is in contact with, especially in the presence of moisture. If you like, I can apply a skin guard to delay (not prevent) both oxidation, and the skin reaction effects of the metal - just request it in the "notes to seller" section during checkout.
