Item description

Pre-viewed for quality and played fine on my Panasonic vcr and looks almost new. Box cover has a couple of barely visible light scores or endentations on the right and left edges about 3" from the bottom. The full screen picture is perfect for old school televisions as the image will fill your square frame. Rare, Out Of Print (OOP) and never put to dvd domestically. Peter Ustinov delightfully returns to his long-beloved role as Poirot in THIRTEEN at DINNER, based on Agatha Christie's 'Lord Edgware Dies'. Whoever killed this snobbish husband of a giddy movie star will need the tightest of air-tight alibis. The setting (filmed in and around London) is Hollywood-on-the-Thames, plunging the refined sleuth into the quite alien world of an on-location film crew. With suspects aplenty (including Dunaway in a dual role), an occasional corpse, urbane atmosphere and Poirot's "little grey cells" working overtime, THIRTEEN at DINNER is a full-course mystery.
