A young girl is bored with her family's traditions until an unexplained event "transports" her back to a Polish village in 1942. At first she keeps insisting she's from American in the 1990s but as the story progresses, she loses her memories of her American family and more and more becomes a young girl, struggling to survive in a concentration camp. Previously read paperback in good condition. There is a name written inside the front cover and there are 12-15 pages with various markings (pencil or pen underlining of passages or highlighting).
