It features a tall, black matte painted wooden column that is tapered inward at the center. The flat, round base is a shiny satin brass plate that is set upon a wide 2" high pedestal. Although it is designed to serve as a convenient hotel bedside light, this handsome, rustic looking lamp will look great in many other environments, too. Uses a standard base screw-in bulb of up to 150W that is controlled by a metal on/off rotary twist switch located on the top side of the lamp base. The extra long 8' heavy duty cord is UL rated to ensure safe operation. Overall dimensions of the lamp from top of the finial to bottom of the base = 32", and the base measures 9 1/2" diameter. The bare lamp weighs approximately 8 1/2 pounds. This lamp includes an 8" gold-tone harp, saddle, and finial, but does not come with a shade.
