The Tone City Model M V2 is a distortion / amp-in-a-box effects pedal and the big brother of the popular Tone City Golden Plexi stompbox. The Model M has the classic British Plexi-style voicing and combines two selectable distortion channels and a switchable and controllable boost section in one pedal. Crunch mode covers the rock tones of the 60's and 70's from slight overdrive to deep crunch, while the high gain mode offers a rich midrange and extremely high gain - from classic rock to heavy metal with one little switch! The switchable boost section is the perfect tool to tighten the sound and get more volume for 'cutting' lead tones. Each distortion channel has a separate gain control, while the tone control acts as a master EQ for both channels.
