Item description

145 mm x 205 mm The genre of symphony may be called the sphere of paramount importance in Ludwig van Beethoven's (1770â??1827) creation. The nine symphonies seem to embrace all the periods of the composerâ?s spiritual life. It's quite evident to reveal Ð?ееthovenâ?s aesthetic finds and achievements in symphonic genre having influenced all the European musical tradition. Beethoven's powerful energy determined his position amongst the greatest world masters. The Fourth Symphony Ð? flat major, ÐÑ?. 60, was composed during Beethoven's work at the Fifth one, which had been begun earlier. Beethoven was already long ago noticed to have alternated such dra- Ñ?ÐÐÑ symphinies as the Third, Fifth, Seventh, Ninth ones with the rather light Fourth, Sixth, Eigth symphonies. Robert Schumann likened the Fourth symphony to â??the Grecian maiden of graceful aspect between two giants from the Northern countriesâ?. These are such elements as the spiritual integrity, boundless joy and lofty unruffled happiness, which the Fourth Sympphony is ruled by. It was firstly performed in Vienna in 1807.
