Item description

Steinel HL2010E heat gun - multi-purpose kit, 1500 w power tool, ergonomically designed heat gun with lcd display, 3 stage switch airflow and continuously variable temperature up to 1150f, electrical heat tool set includes 3 reflector nozzles, reducer nozzle, overhead hanger and multiple welding rods, 34856 The Steinel 34856 multipurpose kit includes the HL 2010 E heat gun, which emits airstreams at 3.6, 10.6, or 17.6 cubic feet per minute (CFM) at temperatures ranging from 120 to 1,150 degrees F. The gun’s temperature setting can be changed in increments of ten degrees F over the full temperature range at the 10.6 and 17.6 CFM airflow stages, and is fixed at 120 degrees F at the 3.6 CFM cool air stage. Similar in shape to a hair dryer, the gun has an LCD that displays temperature settings in 10 degree increments and the actual output temperature when the gun is set to the cool air stage. Each coil in the heating element is encapsulated in ceramic to extend coil life and provide even heat. The kit includes reflector nozzles, a reducer nozzle, a plastic welding nozzle and welding rods, and a carrying case for safe transport and storage. It is suitable for many applications from applying shrink tubing and activating adhesives to welding and shaping plastics and other heat sensitive materials . Specifications Heating Element Ceramic encapsulated to resist coil breakage Weight 2.08 lb. Dimensions 8.0 x 10.2 x 3.5 inches (H x W x D). (H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.) Airflow 3.6, 10.6, and 17.6 CFM Variable Temperature Selectable from 120F to 1,150F (49C to 622C) LCD Display Indicates target temperatures in 10F increments. Power Cord Double insulated, industrial grade rubber, length: 6 ft. Output 1,500 watts. Voltage 120 VAC / 60 Hz at 12.5 amps Certifications UL / C-UL listed Warranty One year limited Nozzle Diameter 1.30 inches (33.02 mm) 3-Stage Switch Cool air (120F at 3.6 CFM) variable temperature at 10.6 CFM variable temperature at 17.6 CFM Heat guns are hand tools that emit a stream of heated air at variable temperatures up to 1,300 degrees F (700 C). Most guns have an electrical heating element to control output temperatures and adjustable fan motors to regulate and focus airflow. Heat guns with high airflow output (greater than approximately 20 cubic feet per minute) are sometimes called heat blowers. Heat guns can be used for a variety of applications ranging from copper and plastic welding to touching up shrink wrap. Accessory nozzles (sold separately) are used to shape the air stream over a wider area, or direct it around pipes and tubing for even heating which prevents adjoining surfaces (such as panes of glass) from overheating, and some heat gun models incorporate workbench stands to allow hands-free operation. The company, founded in Germany in 1959, meets International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2008 standards and is Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) compliant. What’s in the Box?
