This hard drive has been tested successfully to spin up, read and write files. All partitions have been removed and the drive has been formatted with a file system appropriate to the drive's size (typically FAT, FAT32 or NTFS) under Windows XP. Drives will be packaged in an anti-static bag (as shown in the photos). What you see in the listing photos is the same drive you will receive (unless you are ordering from a listing of brand new drives that I have a quantity of). This is one of many vintage items from a computer store that closed in the early 2000's.
