About The Record:
Cornerstone was the first album where the band shied away from the art/progressive-rock influences that dominated their previous albums and was the band's first move towards a more pop/rock direction. Babe was the album's first single and hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Borrowed Time (#63) was released as the second single. The pop-ish Why Me, was the third single release from the album and reached the top 30. Cornerstone became Styx's first US Top 5 album peaking at #2 on the Billboard album chart and is has been certified double-platinum.
