Brand new factory sealed blu-ray is the second adventure with the Next Generation crew. Captain Picard (Patrick Stewart) re-lives his worst nightmare as the villainous Borg (who almost overtook him in a two-part TV episode) go back through time as he and the Enterprise give chase. The hive lifeform wants to conquer the Earth by preventing First Contact. The solution: Some crew members stay on Earth to make sure a cock-eyed scientist fulfills his role in history with a precedent-setting rocket flight. The story follows two concurrent threads as the rest of the crew remain on the Enterprise and wage a battle in space. Alice Krige is a standout as the seductive Borg Queen and Frakes marks his outstanding directorial debut (better known as Commander Riker) with material he has lived with for a decade.
