Just so we're clear on this -- this ring is about twice as heavy as what we normally sell. It's nearly 8 grams and has a good solid feel to it. At SylvaRocks, all of our Sterling Silver is made with a state of the art alloy which modifies the traditional Sterling Silver alloy (92.5% silver + 7.5% copper) by replacing some of the copper with the metalloid Germanium. Adding Germanium to the Sterling Silver results in a highly tarnish resistant silver. Since the resulting metal is still 92.5% pure silver, is still qualifies as Sterling Silver -- just better.
