This is a very stable process, and you don't ever have to worry about the color fading. The color is not ruby red, not garnet red, but maybe somewhere in between. It would pass for ruby before it would pass for garnet. Hard to pin the color down, really... I'm just totally in love with them. In plain English, this is simply a very pretty stone, and it's well mounted in this Sterling Silver ring. Gives me goosebumps just to look at it. Two accent CZ's, one one either side, help to highlight the center stone, without being flashy about it. Good for the office, for the evening, or just because.
