Selsun Original Dandruff shampoo is a treatment for dandruff and seborrhoeic capitis (a greasy, crusting, itching scalp caused by excess oil). It works in two ways: by reducing the greasiness of the scalp which effectively controls itching and scalp dandruff, and by slowing down growth of the layer of the skin cells on the scalp that cause dandruff. Selsun is specially formulated to control the itching and flaking of serious dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp. Ingredients: Selenium Sulfide 2.5 % w/v, purified water, monoethanolamine lauryl sulphate, Empigen BB, entonite,glyceryl monoricinoleate Sodium chloride, titanium dioxide, perfume, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate and citric acid. Directions: Shake well before using. Shampoo and rinse thoroughly. For best results, use regularly, Selsun shampoo should be used to wash the affected areas and left for three to five minutes before rinsing. For dandruff and seborrhoeic dermatitis, the shampoo should be used to wash the hair twice weekly for two to four weeks.
