DO NOT BUY THIS CASSETTE TAPE UNLESS YOU HAVE A CASSETTE TAPE PLAYER OR HAVE ACCESS TO A CASSETTE TAPE PLAYER. This is the SECRETARIAT - "Horse of the Century" cassette tape in NEW, UNUSED, MINT Condition. This cassette tape features the original race calls by the announcer in all 21 of SECRETARIAT'S races. There are also many other comments by SECRETARIAT'S Connections, other Jockeys, Trainers, Etc. This cassette tape is narrated by WIN ELLIOT and runs for approximately 60 minutes. It starts with the race calls of SECRETARIATS 1st Maiden Race at Aqueduct on July 4th, 1972 and SECRETARIAT'S 2nd Maiden Race, also at Aqueduct, on July 15th by track announcer Dave Johnson. Paul Feliciano was SECRETARIAT'S jockey in both of those races. Those two races were followed by comments from Ron Turcotte's Jockey Agent, Joe Schiavone and Penny Tweedy. Next is Dave Johnson's race call on 7/31 of an Allowance race at Saratoga. This was the 1st time Ron Turcotte rode SECRETARIAT. Comments followed by Al Scotti, Trainer of Linda's Chief follow. Next are Dave Johnson's race calls of the next four races. The Sanford Stakes on August 16th, The Hopeful Stakes on August 26th, and The Belmont Futurity on September 16th and The Champagne on October 14th. Followed by comments by Joe Schiavone and exercise rider Charlie Davis. Next are the race calls by Dick Woolley of The Laurel Futurity on October 28th and Bob Weems race call of The Garden State Stakes on November 18th. Then come the race calls of The Bay Shore Stakes on March 17th, 1973, The Gotham Stakes on April 7th and The Wood Memorial on April 21st at Aqueduct, all by Dave Johnson. Comments by Al Scotti, Sid Walters, Jr. and Frank (Poncho) Martin, the Trainer of Sham follow. Then come comments by Penny Tweedy about going to Kentucky. Next are the race calls of The Kentucky Derby, The Preakness Stakes and The Belmont Stakes, all three by race announcer Ray Haight. Followed by comments by Lucien Laurin, Ron Turcotte and Syl Veitch, the Whitney Family Trainer. Next are the race calls by Phil Georgeff of The Arlington Invitational on June 30th and The Whitney Stakes at Saratoga on August 4th. by Dave Johnson. Followed by comments from Lucien Laurin. The race calls by Dave Johnson of The Marlboro Cup on September 15th and The Woodward Stakes on September 29th at Belmont Park are next, followed by comments from Ron Turcotte. Next is the Man O' War Stakes on October 10th at Belmont Park, called by Dave Johnson. Followed by comments from Mac Miller, Trainer of TenTam. In SECRETARIAT's final race he was ridden by Eddie Maple in The Canadian International Championship on October 28th at Woodbine Park and called by Dave Johnson. Comments follow by Eddie Maple, jockey Larry Adams, Columnist Charles Hatton, Eddie Sweat, Trainer Hollie Hughes and Penny Tweedy. Then the SECRETARIAT Parade starts.
