Men's XL: these are for a larger than average man's hand and they are pretty big, whereas there should be another size between average and XL but there isn't. The XL are more for a large hand in girth, not so much length, so if you have an overall giant hand with long fingers, I may not be able to accommodate you. Gloves are white polyester fabric. The fabric is semi sheer, whereas the seams appear a darker white than the rest of the glove when on the hand. Not that big a deal, but I want to disclose an exact description. A good way to decide is to compare the following information to your own: My hands are larger than average for a woman, middle finger 3.5" long (measured from the web) and is at least 2.5" around, pointer finger to thumb 4 3/4", around the palm below the fingers is 8" and my hand is 7.5" long from tip of middle finger to bottom of palm/beginning of wrist. My fingers are a scant longer than his but his hands have more girth in fingers and palm and they are still kinda loose looking however he said he'd be fine with a fit like that.
