RENSIE 7 JEWELS ALARM CLOCK PARTS ONLY Rensie Watch Company US Zone Germany Leather Sides Brass Frame Non Working This older alarm clock is marked Rensie 7 Jewels on the front, and Rensie Watch Company Germany US Zone on the back. This would date it from the 1945 - 1955 time period. It does not work, but would make a great paperweight. The glass on the front is worn and does have scratches. The metal part of the frame has wear, some green spots, and a great old patina. The leather along the sides is heavily worn and discolored from age, and feels dried out to me. I have not attempted to do anything other than wipe dust off the clock. The clock measures 5 1/4 inches across, 3 1/4 inches tall, and 3/4 inches wide. The leather along the sides is approximately 1 inch wide. I don't know if this clock could be repaired or not. I have not opened it to see what the insides look like, and I am not going to. But if you collect vintage alarm clocks from this time period you could certainly display this one with them.
