Hello, Marvel Comics superheroes! This is the rare original 1987 PUNISHER comic book store promotional poster. This vintage 80's comic shop dealer poster was produced by Marvel to promote the 2nd Punisher comic book series, and this poster features artwork by Klaus Janson. This '87 poster was NEVER FOR SALE TO THE PUBLIC AND MADE IN VERY SMALL QUANTITIES, JUST FOR DEALERS TO DISPLAY ON THEIR WALLS AND WINDOWS. In fact, this may be the VERY FIRST APPEARANCE of the Punisher on a promotional poster, so it's an historical collectible! This scarce 1980's Punisher promotional advertising poster is in NEAR MINT CONDITION AND WAS NEVER DISPLAYED, which is highly, highly rare in and of itself. It was sent strictly to comic book retail store owners only, and was produced in VERY LOW numbers (usually just 1 promo poster per store, and there aren't many comic shops left!). Many of the surviving promo posters have no doubt been lost, previously displayed, damaged, or even destroyed over the years.
