PLEASE NOTE: Due to the fact that this urn is made of RAKU pottery/ceramic, there is no way to create a threaded, screw-on, sealing lid. This lid is a plug style, and to create a permanent seal, we recommend using a small amount of adhesive, such as carpenter?s glue, crazy glue, or other type of adhesive, to create a strong, permanent bond between the lid and the urn base. We do NOT include the adhesive with the urn, but you can use pretty much any strong adhesive to seal it. Details This large, dramatic urn was hand thrown on a potter?s wheel by award winning raku artist Ronald Franklin. It features a band of rich reds and greens (obtained from the same glaze through masterful manipulation of the firing process) accented with cobalt blue calligraphic gestures. This is the actual urn you will receive. Once it has been sold, there will be no more exactly like it. This original one-of-a-kind urn is signed by the artist.
