Vintage original 27x41 in. US one-sheet poster from the classic 1980's US Army-themed war comedy, PRIVATE BENJAMIN, released in 1980 by Warner Bros. and directed by Howard Zieff. A sheltered young high-society woman (Goldie Hawn) joins the United States Army on a whim and finds herself in a trickier situation than she ever expected. The cast includes Eileen Brennan, Armand Assante, Robert Webber, Sam Wanamaker, Barbara Barrie, Mary Kay Place, Harry Dean Stanton, and Albert Brooks. The design features a large photographic portrait of society girl Judy Benjamin (Goldie Hawn) as she faces the rigors of basic training. It is unrestored and folded as originally issued in very fine condition. There are some small scattered creases, simply from handling over time, and no pinholes, tears, stains, writing, or other flaws. For their performances in this film, both Goldie Hawn and Eileen Brennan received an Academy Award nomination for "Best Actress in a Leading Role" and "Best Actress in a Supporting Role," respectively.
