Pottery Fish Vase Debbie Kahn Hand Made Clay Scribblefish Fish Vase Red Clay Pottery Artist Debbie Kahn Cape Cod Gallery Cobalt Blue Glaze Inscribed Fish Pattern Scribblefish Pottery Fish Seaweed Starfish Heart with Wings 4.6 inches Tropical Fish Motif I came across this gorgeous vase at a recent sale. It was hand crafted by Debbie Kahn from red clay. Debbie is a well known artisan and her work can be found in local Cape Cod galleries. For over 40 years she has been creating functional pottery and specializes in cobalt blue glazes with inscribed fish patterns. She calls it Scribblefish Pottery. The blue glazing on this vase is imbedded with images of two fish, seaweed, a starfish, and a heart with wings. The vase is approximately 4 1/2” tall and 4 1/2" wide. It is engraved with her signature in the clay on the bottom. You can see the actual red clay color on the base. It is in excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
