Item description

? You are purchasing one Ichi Ki Kei Jiro persimmon tree (Diospyros kaki), a non-astringent variety, measuring 2-3 feet tall in a #5 pot (4x4x10 inches). This compact and productive tree thrives in U.S.D.A. zones 6-9. ? The Ichi Ki Kei Jiro, often called “Itchy,” is the hardiest of all Asian persimmons. It produces sweet, seedless fruit that can be eaten firm like an apple without any astringency. This dwarf variety grows to 8-10 feet in height and width, making it ideal for small gardens. It begins bearing medium to large orange fruit within 2-3 years. ? This self-pollinating persimmon ripens in September or October. It is grafted onto native American persimmon rootstock for added resilience and adaptability. Its manageable size and abundant fruit production make it a great choice for home growers. ? Plants are typically sent via FedEx Home Delivery, UPS, or USPS Priority Mail, with tracking provided once your order is dispatched. Due to extreme weather conditions, plants are only sent to California, Oregon, and Washington unless FedEx 2-day shipping is requested. ? Cannot send to: Alaska, Arizona, California, and Hawaii due to agricultural regulations. Cannot send to Puerto Rico or internationally. ? Your order will arrive in good condition. If any issues occur upon receiving the order, contact us the same day with a detailed description and photos so we can assist you.
