Their design celebrates the refined Neoclassical style and the playful Rococo style. The Classical-ovoid-shaped vase bodies are crafted from vivid striped, blue glass. Each of the bulbous bodies is mounted with several ormolu features. The acanthus-shaped handles transition into Roman-style columns and terminate with a lyre-shaped motif. This is held by charming putti who hold delicate tasseled reigns in their hands. Joining the handles is a rich garland draped across the vases. Each vase is topped by a blue glass lid with a bird finial. The pair of birds, most likely doves, is a symbol of lasting love. A square plinth on four feet supports each vase. An elaborate cartouche filled with a coat of arms featuring the fleur de lis occupies each of the sides. Drapery and flowers are also included in the design of the ormolu stands.
